Closings Begin at Rare NoHo Condo; Miami Listing Offers Yacht to Buyer

Singapore’s Luxury Market Remains Afloat

While some developers have offered discounts of up to 10 percent on luxury condo units in Singapore during the global downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Southeast Asian nation’s real estate market has remained solid over the past year. The Wall Street Journal reports that 2,177 apartments were sold in central Singapore between January and September, up from 1,797 during the same period last year. Along with that boost in sales came a 7.5 percent bump in the median price per square foot to $1,705.

Sales of residences priced over $3.5 million are moving more slowly, however, perhaps due to a travel ban that prevents foreign buyers (the more frequent purchasers of luxury properties in Singapore) from viewing property in-person before purchasing. Despite the slowdown, developers have avoided slashing asking prices on ultraluxury dwellings as wealthy buyers with extra discretionary income continue to make purchases.

Rare New NoHo Condominium Welcomes Residents

Closings are underway at 40 Bleecker, a new condominium designed by Rawlings Architects in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood. The ground-up building is a rare offering in this highly landmarked part of town, where historic districts help maintain the area’s desirable character. The condominium is the first luxury residential building designed by celebrated AD100 interior designer Ryan Korban, who endowed the 61 one- to five-bedroom residences with bold marble accents, open-plan kitchens, and chevron wood floors. The building is over 50 percent sold, with available residences priced from $3.365 million.

Lamborghini, Yacht Offered Alongside Two Luxury Miami Residences

Two of Miami’s most expensive listings now come with a new perk: an Iguana yacht or a 2021 Lamborghini Urus. Regalia Miami has teamed up with Prestige Imports to offer the yacht along with the penthouse of this exclusive beachfront condominium in Sunny Isles. The 11,000-square-foot residence, which is available for $29.95 million, has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and an additional 6,000 square feet of outdoor space. The penthouse also includes a private spa, sauna, swimming pool, and rooftop deck. The 2021 Lamborghini Urus will be gifted to the buyer of the Regalia Residences beach house. On the market for $21.9 million, the beach house is a nearly 11,000-square-foot private residence with six bedrooms and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Both residences are being offered fully furnished.

New Brooklyn Heights Condo With Prewar Flair Ready for Occupancy

Closings have begun at The Symon, the new 13-story luxury condominium in New York City’s Brooklyn Heights that blends prewar style with modern amenities. Pricing in the 59-residence building goes up to $3.3 million for a four-bedroom penthouse. Two of the three penthouses in the building are already in contract, and they both come with private outdoor space and a gas grill. The residential interiors by Studio DB draw inspiration from the surrounding neighborhood — known for its historic low-rise brownstones — with sumptuous details like crown molding, custom millwork, and flooring and tile arranged in classic patterns. The Symon’s amenities include a gym, a landscaped roof terrace, and a cozy lounge with a fireplace.
