Hugh Jackman Asks $38.9 Million for West Village Triplex with Hudson River-Facing Terrace

After nearly 15 years, actor Hugh Jackman is letting go of his West Village triplex apartment in Manhattan. The X-Men star and two-time Tony Award winner listed the five-bedroom abode for $38.9 million, reports The Real Deal. The residence was designed by architect Richard Meier and spans more than 11,000 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows, a spiraling staircase that connects the three levels, a gas fireplace, and a terrace that overlooks the Hudson River. The master suite encompasses the entire top floor, while each of the remaining four bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. Jackman purchased the home in 2008 for $21 million.

SHVO Launches Sales on Beverly Hills’ First New Condominium Development in Over a Decade 

Luxury development and investment firm SHVO has officially launched sales at Mandarin Oriental Residences, Beverly Hills, a newly constructed building that will feature a collection of 54 residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, including six penthouses, with interiors by 1508 London. Located at 9200 Wilshire Boulevard, the 323,000-square-foot development spans a full city block and is the brand’s first standalone residential concept to open in the United States and the first new condominium in Beverly Hills in over a decade.

Each residence sports a sleek layout with contemporary finishes like wide-plank Nordik white oak flooring by Grato, custom-designed Molteni kitchens with Tabu Birch wood cabinetry, floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors, and bathrooms with marble walls and floors. Buyers can elect to purchase a residence with curated furnishings by 1508 London.

Five-star amenities include a private porte cochere with valet parking, a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor-outdoor yoga and meditation spaces, a spa with steam and sauna rooms, and an expansive rooftop with a sun-drenched pool, daybeds, lounge chairs, and cabanas, all managed and serviced by Mandarin Oriental. Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud will service the private rooftop lounge, offer exclusive in-home dining experiences for owners, and operate a restaurant at the base of the building that will be open to the public.

First move-ins will commence later this year. Pricing for one-bedroom residences starts at $3.6 million, two-bedroom residences at $6.3 million, and three-bedroom residences at $9.5 million. Penthouse pricing is available upon request.

Boutique Brooklyn Condominium 288 Water Street Launches Sales from $2.5 Million 

EDRE Development has unveiled 288 Water Street, a boutique five-story condominium building in Vinegar Hill, one of Brooklyn’s most tranquil neighborhoods. Inspired by Japanese aesthetic ideals of balance, grace, simplicity, and relationship to nature, 288 Water features a white porcelain facade and climbing gardens and is home to just eight three- and four-bedroom residences, each with its own private outdoor space and Zen garden.

Building amenities include a fitness center, common roof deck with BBQ and sitting area, residents’ lounge with kitchenette, lobby with package room, and 24/7 remote doorman service. Prices start at $2.5 million.

Related Group Strikes Deal with Tampa Synagogue to Bring Luxury Condos to Bayshore Boulevard

Miami-based developer Related Group announced plans to purchase roughly two acres of land from Rodeph Sholom Synagogue on Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa and construct a high-rise residential tower, reports Tampa Bay Times. Related Group submitted a site plan for the project to the City of Tampa Planning Department, calling for up to 60 condominium residences, as well as parking space for residents and the synagogue. It plans to close on the property in January 2024, pending approval from the city.

In East Williamsburg, 244 Devoe Launches Sales on Its Four Residences, from $1.49 Million

The newly completed, four-story 244 Devoe in Brooklyn’s East Williamsburg neighborhood has launched sales on its four two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes. Residences range from 970 to 1,798 square feet and offer open floor plans, oversized primary bedrooms, chef’s kitchens with Bosch appliances, bathrooms with deep-soaking Jacuzzi tubs and heated floors, and an abundance of outdoor space. A duplex residence encompassing the ground floor includes a striking double-tiered garden terrace, while the crowning penthouse features a private roof terrace as well as an outdoor cooking station. Pricing for available residences ranges from $1.499 to $1.699 million.
