Jade Signature: An Expansive Penthouse With Atlantic Ocean Views

By: LX Collection

Perched atop Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron’s 650-foot Jade Signature, the Upper Penthouse distinguishes itself with its expansive interior and exterior square footage, its artful play of shadow and light, and its exceptional Atlantic Ocean views. The duplex penthouse occupies the 56th and part of the 57th floors and encompasses six bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms—including two primary ensuites—a library, a study, and a wraparound covered terrace.

A private elevator delivers residents into this turnkey home with elevated neutral interiors by Fortune’s Design Team and led by Lacy Berroa. The unique architecture of the wraparound terrace frames Atlantic Ocean views. A stretch of entertaining spaces, including the dining room, living room, and sitting room, overlooks the water and offers points of entry to the terrace, with its private pool and outdoor kitchen.

“The movement and the crystalline color of the ocean inspired the overall design scheme of the penthouse,” said designer Lacy Berroa of Fortune International Group’s interior design team, who orchestrated the furnishings being offered with the penthouse. “Design details such as reflective mirrors were used to amplify the ocean views, and materials such as soft linen and suede textures in neutral tones highlight the residence’s proximity to the sand. The panoramic ocean views are the star of the penthouse—each of the furnishings and fixtures were carefully selected to complement the views and not distract.”

The primary bedroom anchors the southern end of the 56th floor and features two graciously sized dressing rooms and full bathrooms. Three additional bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, occupy the floor’s northern end. A breakfast room, den, and service quarters are also on this floor. The 57th floor gives way to two additional ensuite bedrooms, a family room with a wet bar, and a lounge with a large ensuite that could be used as a seventh bedroom.

“This $29.5 million penthouse represents the true pinnacle of luxury in South Florida,” said Edgardo Defortuna, President and CEO of Fortune International Group. “Buyers here have consistently lauded the building’s incomparable innovation and craftsmanship. From its prizewinning architecture to its artfully designed interiors, the attention to detail and use of luxury materials within Jade Signature are unmatched. The penthouse undoubtedly takes the tower’s high-style and sophisticated design to new heights.”

The Neighborhood:

Considered the Riviera of South Florida, Sunny Isles Beach is one of the most beautiful and sought-out destinations in the state. With its crystal azure water and miles of white sand, this barrier island of 22,000 residents just north of Bal Harbour and Miami Beach has quick access to loads of outdoor attractions, including Haulover Beach Park and Oleta River State Park. The island’s architecture offers a mix of older buildings with new designs sprinkled in. It also hosts an unbeatable eating and drinking scene, with standouts including AQ by Il Mulino and Old Lisbon

Amenities:

The architecture of Jade Signature was conceived to maximize the building’s greatest amenity: its proximity to the prized Sunny Isles white sand beach. The street-level lobby welcomes residents with an ocean view. The entrance floor flows onto the building’s pool deck that connects to the beach via a garden. One of the best amenities is baked into its very architecture: it’s angled in such a way to allow sunlight on the beach as long as possible. The building’s fourth floor is devoted to wellness, with a gym, the Tata Harper Spa exclusively for residents and their guests, and a juice bar.
