Swire Properties Announces The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami

Swire Properties has announced One Island Drive – set within the secluded island community of Brickell Key – which will include The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami and the luxury brand’s new North American flagship hotel. The condominium tower will stand over 800 feet tall and feature 220 two- to four-bedroom homes and two duplex penthouses spanning over 6,000 square feet at the crown of the building. The residential tower will be connected to the hotel property by more than 100,000 square feet of amenity space, including multitiered infinity pools, a signature spa experience, private dining rooms with chef’s kitchens, health and wellness facilities, and world-class restaurants.

One Island Drive will come to life through an inspiring collaboration of elite designers. Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) will sculpt the bold architectural vision. Tristan Auer’s unique Parisian style will be reflected in the residences, while Laura Gonzalez, a Parisian designer acclaimed on the AD 100 and Elle Décor A-List, will design the hotel interiors. The landscape architecture will be entrusted to the renowned Thai firm, Shma. This marks a notable US debut for Auer, Gonzalez, and Shma.

Registration has commenced for The Residences with pricing from $3.5 million. Sales will officially launch in late 2023.

Lenox Hill Penthouse Designed by Tadao Ando Asks $22 Million

Atop 150 East 72nd Street sits a two-level penthouse with an all-glass rooftop pavilion designed by one of the most sought-after modern architects, Pritzker Prize-winning Tadao Ando. The 2,500-square-foot spread has come onto the market at $22 million, reports the Wall Street Journal. The home is being sold with furniture either designed or approved by Ando himself. Also included are several artworks, such as a miniature sculpture by Yoshihiro Suda of a green sprout growing through the floorboards in the vestibule and a pear sculpture by Ugo Rondinone in the main bathroom.

Cipriani Unveils the Canaletto Collection at Cipriani Residences, Miami

In Miami, Cipriani has unveiled a line of penthouses and high-floor residences in its first ground-up development in the United States. The Canaletto Collection, located on the top 18 floors of the tower, features 70 homes and six penthouses. Penthouse 1 sprawls over 9,000 combined square feet of indoor and outdoor space and includes four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a summer kitchen, and an infinity pool. Residents will have priority access to a private speakeasy and dining spaces, global concierge services, and custom furniture packages by 1508 London. Prices start at $3.326 million, with completion expected in 2026.

Record-Setting Penthouse Sale in Miami’s Arts and Cultural District

Related Group has signed a contract for a penthouse on the 54th floor of the Casa Bella Residences in Downtown Miami. The 5,893-square-foot triplex sold for $12.6 million (or $2,138 per square foot). This makes it the most expensive condominium sale per square foot in Miami’s Arts and Cultural District. One of Casa Bella’s crown-jewel triplex penthouses is still available for $12.3 million. Residents at Casa Bella can enjoy amenities such as a party room, a wine vault and tasting lounge, a private theater, and coworking spaces.
