Part of the exclusive Penthouse Collection at Una Residences, OKO Group and Cain International’s 47-story luxury condominium tower in South Brickell, Penthouse Northeast Residence 4001 is an expansive corner home with soaring, nearly 11-foot-high ceilings, private elevator access, and 180-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline.
To conceive the one-of-a-kind tower, world-famous architects Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill (AS+GG)—whose portfolio includes the soon-to-be world’s tallest building, the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia—drew inspiration from the elegant shape and opulent materials used in classic yacht design.
Listed for $7,205,000, the five-bedroom penthouse is one of only two units on its floor and features 4,735 square feet of interior space, with an additional 796 square feet of outdoor terrace space, 6.5 bathrooms, a den, and a housekeeping living space. With custom-designed Gaggenau appliances and granite countertops, the chef’s kitchen has a timeless, elegant feel. Dual walk-in closets and sumptuous details and finishes make the master suite an enviable urban retreat.
The condominium tower’s slate of amenities includes a private marina, three swimming pools, a splash-pad area and playroom, a movie theater, on-site dining, an Aman Resort-inspired spa and steam room, a top-of-the-line fitness center featuring yoga and personal training facilities, and more. Residents will also enjoy a membership to the Grand Bay Club on the Key Biscayne beachfront, as well as all the perks of a central location near a vast array of upscale restaurants, hotels, and shops.

Architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill of the Chicago-based firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill have a penchant for height, and, at 613 feet, Una is the tallest in the area. This fact is augmented by the space around the tower, with a long approach leading to the arced porte-cochere. Its wave-inspired, cantilevered silhouette gives it a sculptural effect that is apparent from afar and up close. “When you look up at Una, it has a shimmering quality,” said the architects. “It is very dynamic—it has a sense of movement and fluidity.”
Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill are also behind the interiors for Una’s 135 residences, all of which have private elevators, an Italian sport boat-inspired vibe, and 10-foot-deep terraces with views of Downtown Miami to the north, neighboring Coconut Grove to the west and south, and the Bay of Biscayne to the east. These vistas, and the indoor-outdoor feeling they inspire, are the central design element that runs through every unit, from the smallest, a 1,098-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with 404 square feet of outdoor space, to the sprawling five-bedroom apartments, which have massive great rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that open onto the three terraces.
For a luxury condo building in Miami, a pool is de rigueur. Una Residences takes it to the next level with five pools, including a lap pool, a family pool, and the bayfront pool, ideally situated for sunsets, not to mention a kid’s splash pad (i.e., wading pool) and a whirlpool. Additional standout amenities include a marina with private boat slips, a world-class spa, and a fitness center, as well as access to Grand Bay Club, a private beach club on Key Biscayne.
