Manhattan’s Eastlight Incorporates Flex Spaces Into Condo Layouts

Eastlight, the tallest building in Manhattan’s Kips Bay neighborhood, has topped out at 34 stories. The 144-residence condominium tower was designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and features amenities on the building’s top floor to maximize access to views. Those amenities include a private training studio, a game room, and a terrace lounge with a dining area and barbecue. CetraRuddy responded to the shifting needs of buyers during the pandemic by incorporating flexible spaces that can be used for personal fitness, office space, or a den into the floor plans of some residences. Pricing starts at approximately $800,000 for studios, $1 million for one-bedrooms, and $2 million for two-bedrooms.

Parker West Reveals Luxe and Liveable Model Residence

Parker West, the boutique condominium development on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, has exclusively unveiled to LX Collection a new three-bedroom model home designed by Orley Interiors. The $3.05 million three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence has been staged by Samantha Orley with a calming color scheme and minimalist interiors to evoke a sense of serenity. Parker West features 18 residences, many of which span a full floor and have private outdoor space. The building was designed by GRADE New York and includes amenities such as a roof terrace with Hudson River views and a fitness center.

Aman Resorts’ Tokyo Residences Will Be Highest In Japan

Aman Resorts is bringing 91 residences to the top floors of Japan’s forthcoming tallest building, reports the Japan Times. The tower is part of the nearly 20-acre Toranomon-Azabudai garden district designed by Heatherwick Studio and Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. The two- to six-bedroom residences will be located on the tower’s 54th to 64th floors and will each come with a dedicated elevator lobby and interiors designed by Yabu Pushelberg. Residents will have access to amenities that include a tea room, a library, a reading room, and a spa featuring an 82-foot lap pool overlooking Tokyo.

ODA’s New Upper West Side Condo Highlights the Outdoors

A new condo on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, designed by ODA to prioritize private outdoor space, has launched sales starting from $1.875 million. Each residence in the boutique, 20-unit 212W93 sports a unique floor plan and interiors by GRADE New York. A full 70% of the units include private outdoor space. Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, landscaped rooftop lounge, gym, pet spa, and bike storage. Private on-site storage space is also available for purchase.

James Beard-Winning Restaurateurs Bringing Parisian Bistro Concept To Miami

Hospitality powerhouses Stephen Starr and Keith McNally are bringing an iteration of Pastis, their Parisian-style bistro, to Miami, reports the Real Deal. The two teamed up to relaunch the restaurant in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District in 2019, and have now inked a deal for an 8,000-square-foot space in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The restaurant is expected to open in the summer of 2022. Starr’s eponymous organization oversees notable restaurants like Buddakan and Le Coucou, while McNally is behind New York stalwarts Balthazar and Minetta Tavern.
