Towering 1,005 feet over Midtown Toronto, The One by Mizrahi Developments is one of the tallest buildings in Canada, behind the famed CN Tower. Designed by Foster + Partners and scheduled for completion in early 2023, the 82-story structure features 416 luxury condominiums ranging from 500 to 5,700 square feet. About The One
While conceiving The One’s design, architects at the award-winning British firm Foster + Partners were also tasked with conserving, updating, and integrating an existing 1884 Italianate-style heritage building. The tower’s exoskeleton supports the building and allows sunlight to seep into the residences. A sheer curtain of glass and bronze trusses runs the full height of the tower. In a first for Canada, corners are made from two sheets of convergent glass, allowing for show-stopping floor-to-ceiling views.
With flagship stores from the biggest names in luxury retail—and with ample cultural and dining attractions nearby—Bloor Street is Toronto’s version of Fifth Avenue.
